Annual Recertification
One of the family's obligations is to attend an annual re-certification.
During the interview HHA will determine that the family is still eligible for the program and that the income information is updated to ensure that the family is paying the correct amount of rent. This process is started 120 days prior to the anniversary date and once completed a letter of notification will be sent to the landlord informing him/her of any changes in the tenant's portion of the rent or family composition.
