About Us

Since 1967, the Hialeah Housing Authority has been dedicated to providing the community with quality, affordable housing that is decent and safe for all eligible families. The Housing Authority strives to serve the community, especially those who are underserved and vulnerable. The HHA services over 5,000 Section 8 vouchers, 1,117 Public Housing units, 545 Affordable Housing units, and 298 Palm Centre units. When all the Housing programs and properties are added together, HHA impacts and serves 6,960 families. 

In addition, the Hialeah Housing Authority serves our community beyond its Housing programs by offering other non-housing programs such as Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS), Hot Lunches for the elderly, and activities through the Elderly Services Program.
