Since 1967, Hialeah Housing Authority has provided the community with quality, affordable housing that is decent and safe for all eligible families. The Housing Authority strives to serve the community, especially those underserved and vulnerable. The HHA manages over 5,000 Section 8 Vouchers, 857 Public Housing units, 545 Affordable Housing units, 481 Conventional Housing units, 260 Project Based Voucher units, and serving over 7,000 families through all programs.
In addition, the Hialeah Housing Authority serves our community beyond its Housing programs by offering supportive social services such as Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS), Hot Lunch for the elderly and activities through the Elderly Services Program.
